1Password CLI 2.44.0-beta.01
  • The Argo CD shell plugin now respects the selected context. Credentials from 1Password are only provided when argocd is targeting the server stored in the item’s Address, so --argocd-context and --server work as they do without the plugin. Git reference #shell-plugins#678
  • The Akamai and Pipedream shell plugins now refuse to write credential values containing line breaks into their generated config files. Git reference #shell-plugins#677
  • The Exercism shell plugin no longer requires a 1Password item for the completion, upgrade, workspace, and troubleshoot subcommands. Git reference #shell-plugins#665
  • The Sourcegraph shell plugin now supports the current sgp_ access token format. The Endpoint field is now required, since each token is tied to a specific endpoint. Thanks @marcleblanc2! Git reference #shell-plugins#593
  • The Hugging Face shell plugin now uses the new hf command instead of huggingface-cli. Run op plugin init hf and remove the old huggingface-cli alias. Thanks @cadnza! Git reference #shell-plugins#573
  • The Terraform shell plugin now provides credentials to terraform output and terraform taint commands. Thanks @juraj-s! Git reference #shell-plugins#556
  • The LocalStack shell plugin now uses LOCALSTACK_AUTH_TOKEN instead of the deprecated LOCALSTACK_API_KEY. Thanks @simonrw! Git reference #shell-plugins#428
  • The MySQL shell plugin now quotes and escapes the values it writes to the generated my.cnf, so passwords containing #, backslashes, or surrounding whitespace no longer fail to authenticate. Git reference #shell-plugins#672
  • The OpenTofu shell plugin now provides credentials to tofu workspace commands, matching the Terraform shell plugin. Git reference #shell-plugins#666
  • The Gitea shell plugin now writes tea’s configuration to the location tea reads when XDG_CONFIG_HOME is set. Git reference #shell-plugins#620
  • The AWS shell plugin no longer fails with Cannot call GetSessionToken with session credentials when a profile with MFA assumes a role through a source_profile. Git reference #shell-plugins#684
  • op item get, op read, op run, and op inject now return the value of an address field when some parts of the address, such as the street or country, are empty. #DI-1185
  • op environment help text now uses “secrets” instead of “variables”. #DEVAI-291
