1Password in the browser 8.10.44

We’re excited to share that we’ve updated the release number formatting for the 1Password browser extension! This change aligns our browser extension with the 1Password apps, so you’ll now see the same release number across all platforms. Plus, both the extension and apps will be released on the same date, for a consistent and streamlined experience.

  • You can now create custom passwords and report issues with the 1Password browser extension from the inline menu that appears below form fields.
  • The “Grant access to your account” message will now display the device name instead of the operating system when enrolling a trusted device. #29952
  • You’ll now be able to delete accounts in the 1Password extension settings. #30954
  • The single sign-on button will now be in focus if it is the only available authentication method. #31433
  • We’ve made visual improvements to the Autofill Behavior options. 31011
  • Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin.
  • We’ve fixed an issue that prevented one-time passwords from filling if the “Sign in automatically” setting was disabled. #31583
  • We’ve fixed an issue where the account password field was not focused when opening the 1Password brower extension for Firefox. #29184
  • We’ve fixed an issue where you couldn’t sign in automatically on wordpress.com if the site was set to German. #31423
  • We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password didn’t sign in automatically on arbeitsagentur.de. #31585
  • We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password didn’t sign in automatically on vandijkstore.nl. #31241
  • We’ve fixed an issue in iOS where you’d have to turn the extension off and on again in Settings > Safari > Extensions to get it working after quitting Safari. 31962
  • We’ve fixed an issue that prevented 1Password for Safari from integrating with the 1Password desktop apps. #32387
