1Password for Android 8.12.44-24
- You can now save and sign in with post-quantum passkeys on sites that support them.
- We’ve made visual improvements to the Watchtower banners you see in your items.
- The Watchtower “Use 1Password for 2FA” banner in item details now has clearer wording and links to instructions for turning on two-factor authentication on that item’s website.
- The Watchtower card for items that support multi-factor authentication is now called “2FA available” to match the passkeys card.
- The Scan QR code option is now called “Scan 2FA QR code.” In the browser extension, it’s now available on any login, including from the Watchtower multi-factor authentication banner.
- When you create a new item, the title field now shows “Enter a title” as a placeholder instead of the category name. If you save without a title, 1Password still uses the category name.
- The first field in API Credential items is now labeled “key name” instead of “username”.
- We’ve improved performance when 1Password loads autofill suggestions.
- The link in the SSO migration prompt now reads “Learn more about single sign-on” and opens the “Switch to 1Password Unlock with SSO” end-user documentation, instead of administrator documentation.
- We’ve fixed an issue where biometric unlock could unlock an SSO account after its session was revoked.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the app could crash when you viewed reused passwords in Watchtower.
- We’ve fixed an issue where a one-time password pinned to the top of the Home screen could make the list scroll each time the code refreshed.
- We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password could fill your password into fields that ask for your PIN followed by a security code.
